just finished bandit 12 and this has to be the closest i felt to being a “hacker” and this is just the beginning this felt good but it also felt tedious decompressing the same file over and over again which reminded me of indika where you had to carry water from a wel like a billion times just for it to go down the drain

really good game very out of the box short wierd sweet. deffo give it a shot if you have ~4 hours of free time

coming back to our topic on a previous bandit stage i noticed uniq doesnt work without the file being sorted. at first glance that seems like bad design but then you look into how slow it would be if it had to store EVERY line just to check if it has been repeated or not makes sense why this decision was taken

the missions which were clearly meant to be done using grep is just skipped past by just using vi and / it was just faster for me to search that way :3

its also pretty cool how /tmp was written to keep its details veiled makes a lot of sense when you. idk if ill ever be able to think like the people who came up with stuff like this but i really aspire and look upto people like these people who are into datamining and everything surrounding that fascinate me too

this is Tate Mcrae’s chaotic this entire album is just so good i wish she made more music like this her style has changed a lot since 22.

this is also another one of her best works.
